What To Bring

For the safety /and recovery of our residents, please note the following in preparation for your stay:


  • Government issued Photo 10
  • Provincial or Territorial Health Card
  • One (1) Debit Card OR one (1) Credit Card OR cash, which will be locked in TeDDs' safe; for approved personal necessities and activities or services that are not included by TeDDs on Chapel's program fee. Spending money can also he e-transferred to [email protected]; security answer 'First name of attendee'.
  • A written list of phone numbers of support persons (family/friends), important contacts (physicians, etc.), banking information etc. TeDDs' residence phone will be utilized by clients at a scheduled time on Wednesdays and Sundays for these calls. Please note that the residence phone is utilized for outgoing calls only.
  • Current prescribed and approved medications; most 'medications' are to be administered by staff.
  • Required medical devices including canes, walkers, CPAP machines.
  • A supply of toiletries, hygiene and/or beauty products. (toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner/comb/brush/hair products, soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shaving cream, disposable razor/s). Errands for client residents' necessities are done on Thursdays of each week.
  • Any vitamins, gum and vape cartridges brought must be in sealed, unopened packaging.
  • Photos of loved ones and 'approve, reading materials. Sorry, magazines are not allowed.
  • Weather appropriate indoor and outdoor clothing and footwear indoor footwear (slippers or soft sole shoes, outdoor footwear-shoes or boots especially for winter, AND exercise footwear); sleepwear; undergarments: hat: gloves, etc.


  • Any sharp or harmful objects
  • Food, beverages or mouthwash, including protein powder, shakes, steroids
  • Lottery tickets, gambling related Items (playing Card, dice, gambling hems, etc.)
  • Magazines, body Image books, pornographic material
  • Bedding — Pillows, bedding, blankets and towels are provided by TeDDs.
  • Clothing that is revealing or sexualized, or tank tops. A sleeved shirt must he always worn.
